I'm Eboné, the storyteller behind this transformative journey into the multifaceted realm of love. My passion for storytelling and an insatiable curiosity about the complexities of human emotions have driven me to create this space where love, in all its forms, is celebrated and explored.

On March 1, 2016, my life was forever changed. While at work, I felt this excruciating pain throughout my entire body. I was so scared because I’d never experienced this type of pain before, so I asked my manager if I could leave work early….

Growing up, I used to cringe when I heard the word "pussy". I knew that word just made me feel uncomfortable, even when I reached my mid-20s. There's an old saying that goes, "You fear what you don't know," and I was afraid to embrace the power that started from within, especially between my legs…

Eboné, the homegirl in question, “aims to show the full range of women of color living full lives that they have worked to have.” She does this brilliantly and simply, by conducting an interview with an anonymous woman of color in each episode: a Rikers Island corrections officer or a woman who survived a plan crash that killed 100 fellow passengers.

When I first started The PHG (Professional Homegirl) Podcast™, I wanted to debunk the narratives of what society thinks about Black women by providing a platform where Black women can live in their authenticity and fully be seen.
