Launched The Professional Homegirl Podcast after attending therapy and recognizing the healing power of storytelling.

2021 – Expansion + Firsts

  • September: Landed first bookstore placement at Bluestockings NYC (Manhattan)

  • October: Second bookstore placement at WORD Bookstores (Brooklyn)

2024 – Five Years of PHG

  • January:

    • PHG Podcast turns 5 years old

    • Started partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

  • April: Attended the 2nd Annual Black Effect Podcast Festival

  • July: Featured on iHeartRadio as a top podcast for Mental Health Awareness Month

  • August: Began partnership with my elementary school, Rozelle Elementary

    • Created the 1st Annual Professional Homegirl Turkey Drive, providing over 100 turkeys to families in Memphis

2025 – A New Chapter

  • January: Returned to Memphis to spend time with St. Jude families at Weekend of Hope

    • Celebrated my first Times Square billboard announcing the show’s rebrand
