Hey there, fam! I'm Eboné – your favorite Professional Homegirl, dynamic entrepreneur, and the voice behind the mic of Pretty Private. For years, I've been on a mission: to create a platform that celebrates, empowers, and uplifts women of color, reminding us all that our stories are our power.

My journey into this space is deeply rooted in the incredible women I've met along the way. Their resilience, their wisdom, and their willingness to share their truths have filled my cup and fueled this entire movement. Every conversation, every shared experience, has been a profound well of inspiration, proving that when passion, knowledge, and experience converge, magic happens.

Now, let's talk about the glow-up, chile! For years, this space was proudly known as The Professional Homegirl Podcast. And believe me, that identity isn't going anywhere. "Professional Homegirl" is the very foundation of my brand, standing for being your most authentic, unapologetic self—no matter what. It's a place where you don't have to look far to see yourself, and it will forever be who I am.

But as the podcast grew—the stories got deeper, the conversations more layered, and the impact bigger than I could've imagined—I started to feel like we'd hit a ceiling. My president (Dollie, hey girl!) even mentioned it might be time for a change. At first, I was like, "Come again, girl?!" PHG was my identity! But after sitting with the idea, talking to friends, and really reflecting, I realized something profound: the podcast had evolved so much since 2019, it deserved an identity that fully reflected the depth, intimacy, and transformation happening in every single episode. Your girl was stepping into her Oprah bag!

This rebrand isn't a departure; it's an expansion. It's about honoring the powerful foundation we built together, while making space for the incredible new stories that need to be told.

So, where does Pretty Private come in?

This show has always been rooted in truth-telling and transformation—stories that are raw, unfiltered, and deeply personal. I wanted a name that honored the sacredness of what's shared here. These conversations aren't just content; they're confessions, healing moments, testimonies. They are Storylines Becoming Lifelines.

Pretty Private is about creating that sacred space. It's for the women (and sometimes men!) who want to speak their truth behind the mic, even if they're not ready to reveal their name. It's for the listener who hears these stories and feels seen, validated, or even inspired to take their own next step.

My own journey of overcoming personal challenges has given me a unique perspective on resilience and the importance of community. I draw on these lessons every day to create a supportive and empowering environment for us all. Because as I always say, Tough Times Don’t Last, But Professional Homegirls Do!

Whether you've been with us since day one as a Professional Homegirl or you're just discovering the intimacy of Pretty Private, I'm so glad you're here. This platform was built with nothing but faith, hustle, and a mic, and every listener, every guest, every person who's ever shared their truth or pressed play—this isn't just my win, it's ours.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let's continue to step into this new era together, embracing growth, authenticity, and keeping it Pretty Private!
